Can I Learn And Work From Home?

LEARN FROM HOME

The Andrews School's professional-level distance learning (online) course was created to prepare students to do marketable work upon graduation. Our graduates almost always work from home right after they graduate.

One of the major advantages of our course is the fact that your work is evaluated by high-level medical transcription educators, with a variety of styles and personalities, just the way it is on the job. When several expert instructors have 'signed off' on your work, your confidence level will be much stronger. At least one of them will be very much like one of those who will be evaluating your employment tests and your work on the job later. On the job, you must have the skills to adjust to different work styles and personalities. Supervisors are constantly moved in, out, and around. Flexibility is one of the skills we build in our students from the very beginning.

The education and training required for a career in medical transcription is ideally suited for learning from home if you enroll in a quality home-study course with well-qualified, experienced and caring instructors. Carefully consider your options. The course you take will determine your future success in the field of medical transcription. The best bargain a school can offer you is the ability to get the job you want when you graduate.

WORK FROM HOME

Years ago, I would not have considered teaching any student who hoped to work from home. In the past, students needed to start out surrounded by experienced medical transcriptionists to help listen to the difficult dictation. Things have changed dramatically! Those same medical transcriptionists who were so helpful and encouraging in the past are now working from home. Others are paid on production and just don't have time to help new employees. They are concerned about their own paychecks.

We've found that many of our graduates do very well working from home. The employers are happy as well. We know that most of our graduates want to work from home. We prepare our students with the knowledge and skills they will need. Students receive an excellent selection of medical reference books to use throughout training and later on the job. Those reference materials will be especially important as you work from home. Your tuition at The Andrews School of Medical Transcription also includes extensive mentoring from the director and instructors. Former graduates and colleagues of the director enjoy mentoring new graduates as well. Our graduates appreciate these advantages when they see what a difference education and training can make. We hope you will consider joining us.
